About the Recipe
This traditional Kerala fish curry uses Oliyan’s Pure Coconut Oil for its signature flavor and aroma. The rich coconut oil enhances the spices and makes this dish truly coastal and comforting.

Ingredients
500g fish (seer, sardine, or pomfret)
2 tbsp red chili powder
½ tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp tamarind paste
1 cup coconut milk
2 tbsp Oliyan’s Pure Coconut Oil
1 tsp mustard seeds
Curry leaves
Salt to taste
Preparation
Heat Oliyan’s Pure Coconut Oil in a clay pot or pan.
Add mustard seeds; let them splutter. Add curry leaves.
Add chili powder, turmeric, and tamarind paste; sauté briefly.
Add fish pieces and coconut milk.
Simmer for 10–15 minutes until fish is tender.
Serve hot with rice or appam.
